Who We Are

Foulke Construction is a boutique custom home builder and design-build firm serving Haddonfield, Haddon Township, and select communities throughout South Jersey. We create thoughtfully designed homes around the people who will live in them—homes shaped by the way a family lives, the character of the property, and the details that make a house feel distinctly their own.

Our role begins well before construction. By becoming involved during planning and design, we can help keep architecture, engineering, budgeting, selections, approvals, and construction strategy working toward the same objective from the beginning. That early coordination leads to better decisions, clearer expectations, and a more confident path from concept through completion.

Our Approach

A More Personal Way to Build

Building a custom home is personal. It is also one of the largest investments most families will ever make. We believe the experience should reflect that.

Foulke Construction intentionally limits the number of homes we take on so each project receives the attention it deserves. Clients are not passed from a salesperson to a disconnected project team. They work directly with the people responsible for planning and building their home, with clear communication and accountability throughout the process.

That boutique approach allows us to stay close to the work, respond quickly when decisions are needed, and protect the details that can be lost when too many layers separate the client from the builder.

The Design-Build Method

Design and Construction, Working Together

We believe the best homes are created when design and construction are developed together—not handed off from one company to another after the important decisions have already been made.

Through The Foulke Design-Build Method, we help coordinate the architects, engineers, surveyors, designers, specialty consultants, suppliers, and craftsmen required for each project. Foulke Construction serves as the central point of coordination, helping make sure each decision is understood in the context of the entire home.

The goal is not to make every decision for the client. It is to give clients better information, experienced guidance, and a coordinated team so they can make those decisions with confidence.

One Team. One Plan. One Clear Path From Concept to Completion.

Craftsmanship

Built on Craftsmanship

A beautiful finish matters. So does everything behind it.

We approach every home with the belief that quality should be evident in the details you see and dependable in the details you may never see. Structure, building systems, materials, installation, millwork, finishes, and long-term performance all matter.

We work with trusted architects, engineers, designers, suppliers, and skilled tradespeople who share that standard. Our objective is not simply to create a home that photographs well on the day it is completed, but one that is thoughtfully built to serve the family who lives there for years to come.

Design Philosophy

A Home Should Reflect the People Who Live There

We do not believe a custom builder should impose a signature style on every client. Some families are drawn to timeless traditional architecture. Others prefer modern, coastal, transitional, or something entirely their own. The common thread should not be that every Foulke home looks the same. It should be that every Foulke home feels considered.

Our job is to listen carefully, ask the right questions, challenge ideas when there may be a better solution, and help turn a client's vision into a home that functions beautifully and feels personal to them.

The Foulke Standard

What You Can Expect From Foulke

Personal Involvement — Direct access to the people planning and building your home.

Transparent Budgeting — Realistic conversations about cost as the design develops.

Thoughtful Planning — Important decisions addressed early, while they are easier to evaluate and change.

Exceptional Craftsmanship — Attention to both the visible details and the construction behind them.

Long-Term Accountability — A relationship that continues through completion and beyond.

Leadership

Led by Patrick Foulke

Foulke Construction was founded by Patrick Foulke in 2010 after a career that began in the trades and grew through carpentry, field supervision, project management, and construction management. His experience includes early work in concrete and masonry, high-end finish carpentry in Palm Beach, large-scale construction management, renovation, development, and custom residential construction.

Patrick remains directly involved in the projects Foulke Construction takes on, from early planning and design conversations through construction and final completion. That hands-on involvement is intentional—and it is one of the reasons the company continues to remain boutique by design.

The story behind Foulke Construction is personal. The homes we build should be too.

Why It Matters

Our Commitment

We measure success by more than the finished home. We measure it by the confidence our clients have in the process, the quality of the decisions made along the way, and the pride everyone feels when the project is complete.

Building a custom home should be exciting. Our responsibility is to bring the planning, people, experience, and craftsmanship together to make that experience as clear and rewarding as possible.

Let's Build Together

Thoughtfully planned. Personally managed. Built to last.
